Christmas and fashion, what do they have in common you might think? Well those are two words that describe my day yesterday. And what a nice day it was!
Yesterday I had my first real Christmas feel when going to Mechelen. When we arrived it was already dark (oh yes, I am one of those people that plan on going somewhere and always gets there at least one hour later than planned). I bought a new wintercoat at Zara (you will see it on the blog very soon) and went to the comic book store with my boyfriend. After a nice dinner, he accompanied me to Fashion Off, the first fashion festival in Belgium.
The first movie we saw was ‘the Tents’, an interesting documentary about the history of fashion week in NY. The second screening I saw were shortfilms selected by Ellen von Unwerth, a 90′s model movie from Peter Lindbergh and to end the night with a documentary called ‘Inner Voices’. The shortfilms were all very different and fun to watch, the model movie was beautifully filmed in black & white and had a cool story but was a bit too long in my opinion. And the last movie, I am still figuring out why it was shown at a fashion film festival. It was a very experimental and emotional/crazy in the cocount piece about actors on some sort of workshop. I am still not sure what to think about it.
Anyhow, this is what i wore yesterday. I was in heels almost the whole afternoon and night and I must say, they are pretty comfortable. Big thanks to Chiara Ferragni of the Blonde Salad for designing them
